i flew up to long beach, new york to surprise my aunt for her 60th birthday party this weekend. it was a quick "pop" in, and a lovely reminder of how lucky i am to have such a fun, supportive and absolutely crazy family waiting for me in the best state in the world.
of course i tried to pack some fun outfits for the trip, and i though these overalls from LuLu's would be just perfect! they were originally pants, but i shortened them for the summer! the long beach boardwalk feels a lot like coney island without the ferris wheel and arcade games, and it is always so breezy and beautiful to walk around and soak in the sunshine. let's just say i am back in rainy humid florida and having major NY withdrawals =(!
