Even though we have a nursery all set up (and ready to reveal, soon!) for our little man, we decided that we want him to sleep in our room for the first few months. We figure it will make those nighttime feedings much more do-able, plus I am sure we'll just want to know he is okay throughout the night.
So in my crazy nesting mode, I carved out a little space for his cradleand a rocker to soothe him back to sleep. I wanted to keep the space minimalistic, since it is only temporary, but also wanted to add a little bit of magic to it since it's where he'll sleep during his first sleeps out in the world. I added a beautiful handmade tapestry from Etsy that has some gold flecks in it, gold stars from West Elm & a quirky piece of artwork that Matt and I picked up traveling upstate to make the space feel like his own.
