it's tough to find good people, and here i am at my job surrounded by them. isn't it funny how easy it is in theory to do so many things, but then all kinds of feelings always get in the way. i have been waiting for the moment when i moved to NY for years upon years, but now that my time here is slowly slipping through my fingertips (22 days to be exact) i am growing nostalgic. these people here-- the guy sitting across from me who always gives me goldfish, the guy sitting next to me who thinks my endless rhetorical questions are annoying (but secretly love-hates them) and then of course my cat-loving friend in the office over & my project manager who is just one of the nicest people-- when you put faces and personalities and goodbyes into the mixture it becomes more complicated.
but i am truly determined to soak it all in, and to be present. to know that very soon everything will change, and that is okay. ♥ have any of you ever moved somewhere far before? how was your experience?
