i spent this past weekend in Brattleboro, Vermont, a place I would have never thought of visiting but am glad that life brought me to! it is a peaceful, beautiful, scenic little town right along the connecticut river. i absolutely adore slowing down my pace, enjoying a cup of coffee and getting a picture of what life is like for lots of other people who aren't in a big city like Miami or NY-- the places I've spent a lot of my time. we ended up being there on the weekend of a parade called "strolling of the heifers," and it was a site to see! there was GOOD thrift, good coff AND we got to see inside of a house from 1868! oh how i dream of owning a big old house one day...
for the first day of vacation i romped around in little polka dotted overalls. maybe i am too old to wear these, but i never really cared about that type of stuff did i? :) i LOVE all of the new items by Keds .. so i had to snag these overalls in the mall last week. well i hope your monday was bright and sunny. mine definitely was!! xo
